Louise Boland is the publisher and founder of Fairlight Books. Seeing friends struggling to find good reads from under a deluge of ‘buy-me’ photo-fit e-novels, and seeing writer friends struggling to find homes for quality fiction, she decided to set up Fairlight Books to help promote and nurture new writers of quality fiction.

She is also the author of Bookshop Tours of Britain, The Plastic-Free Gardener and self-help title How to Sleep, and writes fiction under the pen name Lou Gilmond.
